The Hall of Fame Game

The Hall of Fame Game is the yearly preseason game that will kick off the NFL season. This year, the game will be played on August 3 in Canton, Ohio, between the New York Jets and the Cleveland Browns.

Kickoff Weekend

The National Football League’s Kickoff Weekend marks the official start of the season. This year, Kickoff Weekend will commence on Thursday, September 7. It will feature a match between the Kansas City Chiefs and Detroit Lions.

The match is one of the most anticipated in the NFL, as it gives the defending Super Bowl champion the opportunity to get their title defense off to a good start. It also lets the league showcase its talent and give viewers a glimpse of the fun that’s to come.

The International Series

The NFL International Series includes regular-season games played outside the country. This year, the series will start with an international game on October 1. The Atlanta Falcons will face off against Jacksonville Jaguars at Wembley Stadium in London, United Kingdom.

The next London-based match will be played on October 8 at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. Shahid Khan will be hoping his London ties (he also owns Fulham FC) prove valuable when his Jacksonville Jaguars go up against the  Buffalo Bills. At the same venue on October 15, we get the clash between the Baltimore Ravens and the Tennessee Titans.

Then, the series will move to Germany, and the second-last game will be played at Frankfurt Stadium on November 5. The match will feature the Miami Dolphins facing off against the Kansas City Chiefs.

Lastly, the final International Series game will be played at the same venue on November 12. It will feature the Indianapolis Colts vs. New England Patriots.

The International Series was first introduced in 2007 as an avenue to help grow the game’s popularity worldwide. It gives fans in other countries the opportunity to see NFL matches and their favorite stars play live.
